Bonkersfest! 07 Visual and Live Art Commissions

Bonkersfest! Has worked in partnership with South London Gallery to present four new visual and live art commissions at Bonkfersfest! 07. This strand of the festival programme celebrates a relationship between Creative Routes and the SLG which has developed over the last three years and represents an ambitious move by Creative Routes towards the production of new art works inspired by madness.

Lucy Panesar: Good Vibrations more
Good Vibrations will invite the public to test the marketability of the vibrator as an electro-therapeutic device for treating hysteria and other female stress related disorders

Rakshanda Khan more & Sophia Yadong Hao: Spin Cycle more
Spin Cycle is an interactive one-day live artwork and installation at Tumblewash Launderette on Camberwell Church Street that will take place during the festival.

Orly Orbach: Wanted more
Orly Orbach has developed a series of new drawings for Bonkersfest! 07 that convey ideas and experiences of madness.

A Dose of Light: Wu Xiao Kang 1979-2005
A series of haunting images are the final roll of film taken by Wu Xiao Kang before he committed suicide at the age of 26. more
