The Tale of Sheherazade
performed in Camberwell Leisure Centre for the Write Stuff festival, June
2005
The idea for this production was conceived and initiated by Creative Routes
and brought to you in collaboration with Endymion and supported by the
wonderful Young Vic Theatre.
The focus is on the art of storytelling and imagination, emphasising the
all-pervasive power of creativity as a survival tool on the journey from
despair to hope.
A memorable fusion of words, music and dance, with specially commissioned
music written by Creative Routes members.
Workshops in creative writing led by Leah Thorn.
Workshops in musical composition led by Alison Cox.
Performance workshops led by Gabby Vautier.
